Our expert developers conducted a thorough analysis of the existing system, identifying and removing redundant code. This streamlined the software, reducing it to a concise and efficient half of its original size. Such refinement is essential in coding, as it enhances performance and maintainability.
The enhancement process involved both the client-facing side and server-side of the application, utilizing technologies like Ext JavaScript, ASP.net, C#, SQL. A crucial upgrade was the implementation of a robust version control system, allowing for seamless transitions between software versions and safeguarding the code against data loss and human error.
Understanding the unique needs of our client, we also developed a mobile application that integrates seamlessly with their warehouse management system. This app enables employees to scan product labels directly, accessing vital historical data such as arrival dates, locations, and values—without the need to open crates. This feature not only saves time but also reduces the risk of handling errors with irreplaceable art pieces.
Post-development, the software now supports full automation of the warehouse operations. From manual entries and paper-based processes to a sophisticated system where scanners and web applications interconnect seamlessly with the Warehouse Management System. Every product location is easily trackable, and calculations for crate building, transportation, and art installation are automated. The integration extends to office tasks, where billing and invoicing are now streamlined and error-free due to reduced manual input.
